Exercise 5: Why so scary?

While some things are universally scary (mid-flight engine failure, literal mine fields) there's something special about common objects and situations that can become terrifying within the right context—think an alpine hotel in a snowstorm or an old doll in the corner of a dark room.

Today we're going to take the normal and figure out how to dial up the fear. Here are three everyday businesses on Yelp. Nothing too spooky. Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to rename these businesses and update their "services offered" to make them the scenes from nightmares.

The Blade Doctor - Ballston Lake, NY

Services offered: Knife Sharpening

Convenient Termite and Pest Control - Chandler, AZ

Services offered: Ant Extermination, Bee Removal, Flea Extermination, Preventative Services

Dun-rite Cleaners - Detroit, MI

Services offered: Bridesmaid Dress Alterations, Recutting Services, Resizing Services
